Mother Mattie Mae Tarver, 85, of Pine Bluff passed away on October 29, 2019.

Harold Bullock
Harold Duane Bullock, 85, of Ward, formerly of Pine Bluff, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2019. He was born May 24, 1934 in Humphrey to the late Hobert and Fannie Mae Whatley Bullock.
Harold enlisted in the U.S. Navy May 28, 1952 at Pine Bluff when he was 18. He was in boot camp from May - August 1952 at San Diego, California. He attended aviation machinist school September 1952 - March 1953, Norman, Oklahoma. Harold was stationed at N.A.A.S. Cabiniss Field, Corpus Christi, Texas March 1953 – March 1955. He was stationed at Naval Air Station, March 1955-October 1955, Miramar, California. He went aboard the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Kearsarse October 1955 for the Far East, Hawaii, Japan, Philippines, and Hong Kong. He came back to the United States in May, 1956, and was released from active duty May 24, 1956 at age 22.
He stayed in California from 1956 until March, 1957 to work. He lived with his brother Glenn and his family He came back to Arkansas to find his soul mate and wife, Alta Ann Little Bullock, whom he married December 20, 1957 at Benton. He worked for International Paper for 34 years.
He was fully discharged May 24, 1960 after four years inactive duty from 1956-1960. His rank when he was released was 2nd Class Petty Officer.
He became a member of Broadmoor Missionary Baptist Church in August, 1965, and was ordained as a deacon in March, 1980. He also served as a Sunday School teacher, mission treasurer and handled the building and grounds.
He moved to Ward in March, 2018 and became a member of Greenwood Missionary Baptist Church in Butlerville.
Also preceding him in death were his son, Tony Bullock; daughter, Kelly Bullock; and brothers, Delbert Bullock, Glenn Bullock, Orville Bullock, and Hobert Bullock Jr.; and sister, Ruby Thorogood.
Harold is survived by his wife of 61 years, Alta Ann Little Bullock of Ward; two brothers, Marvin Bullock of Pine Bluff and Harvey Bullock of Mt. Home; two grandchildren, Jake (Lacey) Bullock of Cabot, Sarah (Chad) Myers of Cabot; and 5 great grandsons.
Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday at the Chapel of Ralph Robinson and Son with Bro. Sam Griffin and Bro. Ron Fears officiating. Burial with military honors will be in Cypress Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home

Alice Laney
Alice “Tutu” Marie Haralson Laney, age 89, of Pine Bluff went to be with her Heavenly Father on Sunday, November 3, 2019
She was born June 20, 1930 at Pine Bluff to the late Albert and Beulah Church Haralson.
Predeceasing Mrs. Laney are her husband of 56 years, Selby Laney Jr.; a brother, Eugene Haralson; and two grandsons, B. J. Bates and Hunter Roberts Laney.
Alice was a devoted mother who spent her entire life caring for and loving her children & grandchildren. She was an active member of Family Church of White Hall. As a resident of Trinity Village Assisted Living for the last 3 years, she enjoyed the activities to the point that her family had to schedule visits with her.
Mrs. Laney is survived by a sister, Juanita Haralson of Tustin, CA; a son, Rodney Laney (Sheila), of Pine Bluff; three daughters, Kay Laney Barnes (Barney) of Mt. Ida, Sherry Laney Baxter (Johnny), and Tammy Haralson Stephens (Steve), all of Pine Bluff; five grandchildren, Bryan Hall (Laura) of Bryant AR, Tricia Greer Thompson (Stephen) of Siloam Springs, AR, Robert “Chad” Cherry of Toledo, Ohio, Lindsey Laney Pelton (Jason) of Houston, TX, and Tonia Bates of White Hall; 20 great grandchildren; her Campbell nieces and nephew, Carolyn, Charlotte, Christie, and Chuck; and a Haralson nephew, Al.
To know her was to love her. Funeral services will be Friday, November 8, 2019, 1:30 at Fuller Hale-South Funeral Chapel with Cadell Welch officiating. Burial will follow in Bellwood Cemetery. James Ryals
James “Jimmy” Wetherall Ryals, 70, of Jefferson, Arkansas, passed away Monday, November 4, 2019, at his home.
Jimmy was born November 18, 1948, in Dermott, Arkansas, to the late Felix and Carolyn Ruth Seamans Ryals. He was reared and received his education in White Deer, Texas, graduating from White Deer High School in 1968.
Jimmy was a truckdriver for 40 years and retired in 2014. He was a member of Double Wells Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his son, James Zachary (Amber) Ryals of Bryant; two daughters, Traci Ann Ryals (Chris Perkins) of White Hall and Tabitha Ann (Tim) Robillard of Austin; four grandchildren, Kynlee Ryals, Aiden Robillard, Austin Robillard, and Lucy Rose Perkins; brother, Felix Wilson Ryals of Jefferson; and three sisters, Janice Rogers of Wimberly, Texas, Carolyn Armogida of Hot Springs, and Mary Ryals of Austin, Texas; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be Friday, November 8, 2019, 10:00 AM, Robinson Fuller White Hall Chapel with Reverend Mike Cottrell officiating. Burial will follow at Jefferson Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to service time.
