Critics say three Denver police officers who were fired for talking trash about criminal aliens should sue for compensation.
The three officers were fired on July 22nd after group chat messages from March were discovered showing them joking about using a criminal alien shelter for “target practice.”
“The messages joked about going to newcomer shelters for target practice,” officials said in a statement to Fox News. “Due to the abhorrent nature of the messages, the officers, who were still in the probationary phase of employment following their graduation from the Denver Police Academy, were terminated from the Denver Police Department.”
Fire three police officers for comments about illegal immigrants? This is the definition of liberal insanity.
They will find work somewhere else, and Denver will be less safe.
The woke mind virus.

The termination letters sent to the three officers were scathing, according to The Denver Post.
“You participated in inappropriate text messaging conversations with other DPD recruits joking that you would go to at least two migrant shelters and shoot them for target practice,” the letter by Denver Police Chief Ron Thomas read.
“This behavior is extremely prejudicial to the department and poorly represents the Denver Police Department to the community,” it continued.
But it gets worse. In a statement to the Post, police officials said that the remaining officers in the department will hereby be subjected to DEI training.
“Additional Equity, Diversity, and Inclusivity training and Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement (ABLE) training will be provided to the other officers on that group chat,” they said.
Also, because the three fired officers didn’t complete theirprobationary period, they aren’t eligible to appeal their terminations.
Responding to their terminations, many in the public have been crying foul, with some even recommending the three either file suit or pursue a job in a red state.

Imagine the police making critical comments about people engaged in illegal activity.

Sickening. They should sue the city on first amendment grounds and make it a class action suit.

Leftist Democrats have no sense of humor. Hope officers move to a red state and get police officer jobs.

But wait a second, what about the freedom of speech, the Denver police is not some private company to do whatever the hell they want, I hope they sue.

It’s important for police officers in these various DEI states to remember there’s plenty of law enforcement agencies that would gladly take them in a heartbeat because they’re not woke.

Florida needs good officers like this. We should support these 3. It’s up to the voters in Denver to correct their voting choices. These officers are victims of the government they represent.

Man – who’d have thought the good state of Colorado would go full Commie on their own CITIZENS…
I hope those good police officers move out of that state and into another one that appreciates them— Melodie Watson (@KittyMousey76) August 9, 2024
Denver is, sadly, a far, far, far-left city. In May, the city released a “playbook” to help other cities in the state welcome criminal aliens into their communities.
“The 15-step ‘playbook,’ which describes [criminal aliens] as ‘newcomers’ in its first paragraph, lays out several ways other cities can manage the crisis by outlining best practices and procedures for integrating migrants into local communities,” Fox News noted.
“Our efforts include helping people with onward travel as needed, offering temporary shelter, facilitating the search for permanent housing, and providing vital support in terms of medical and mental health, work authorization, legal assistance, school enrollment, and more,” the guide’s introduction reads.
Denver Mayor Mike Johnston, a Democrat, was proud of the playbook, despite his city having to cut millions from its regular budget to accommodate the criminal aliens.
“We’re proud this playbook will help newcomers resettle in cities with more opportunities, help cities across the country successfully welcome newcomers and reinvigorate workforces,” he said in a statement back in April.
This is NOT a “Babylon Bee” story! The city of Denver has issued a “playbook” on how to treat “NEWCOMERS,” including:
Enhance Spanish-Speaking staff
Establish a city budget
Set up a “newcomer” monetary fund
Manage donations
