There is just something about a chocolate muffin that makes it so much more tempting to me than all of the rest. I have a feeling that thing is….. chocolate. When I imagine the perfect Chocolate Muffin, it is full of rich chocolate flavor in a moist muffin. Ingredients in Chocolate Muffin Mix Recipe

What You Need:

  • All Purpose Flour or All Purpose Gluten Free Flour. Either type of flour has been tested and will work in this recipe!
  • Unsweetened Chocolate Cocoa Powder. You don’t need sweetened cocoa powder because we are using sugar in this mix recipe.
  • Baking Powder and Baking Soda. Using both rising agents will help to give these muffins that “bakery style” look.
  • Salt. Salt in baking recipes helps brings out the flavor. I wouldn’t skip this ingredient unless you need to.
  • Chocolate Chips. Milk chocolate or semi-sweet chocolate chips will both work in this recipe. The addition of the chocolate chips makes these true double chocolate muffins!
  • Sugar. I use cane sugar in this recipe, but you might be able to use an alternative like coconut sugar.
