Different Sea, Different Ship, same quality Cruiseline
"
When we first booked the Black Sea cruise last year, we were really looking forward to finally going to Istanbul and seeing a different part of the world. All of these factors combined, including a healthy dash of good luck, helped make for an excellent cruise.

A bucket list experience that was just perfect. We did use Viator for all of our shore tours and they were great. Onboard was so great from food, to staff to our cabin. The first time we didn't have a balcony but had a large window on the 4th deck a few cabins away from Guest Services - loved where our cabin was. Wonderful sea days, so much to do. Went to specialty dinners and was disappointed

Had some reservations about Azamara as the company had changed hands since our last cruise with them. However, we were happy with the ship, cabin comfortable, excellent cabin attendant Raymond. Food good in dining room and buffet. We enjoyed the destination lectures. Agree with previous reviewer, the drummers from Kagoshima were amazing. Also the buffet on the deck before we reached

Azamara's ships are older and beginning to show their age but are clean and well-maintained. Our wheelchair-accessible suite was comfortable with plenty of storage. The bath including roll-in shower is small but with good access. The cabin door is power operated. We found the food as good or better than expected with the exception of Aquilina. Choose Prime C instead. The main dining room is also

The ship has an elegant interior which is kept spotlessly clean. All passengers were greeted with a glass of champagne on embarkation which foreshadowed the great service for the whole cruise. Cabins were immediately available so after unpacking we went to the aft buffet for a snack. We were warmly greeted and treated to nice glasses of wine while admiring the view of Hong Kong in somewhat chilly

This is our 6th cruise with Azamara and we were somewhat concerned at how things would be on board after suffering through the booking process on the new, badly implemented and frankly appalling booking system.First impressions are that the ship is looking a little tired with some areas needing a spruce up but overall these issues are not major.Officers and crew are, as usual, outstanding

Back to Azamaea after a few years gap. We were concerned by the reviews on CC for the Journey before we boarded. Totally unfounded, how people could write such untruths is not fair.It was a terrific trip. Good value with basic bar package included.Food was great with many choices and lots of FRESH seafood, vegs, fruits. Everyday dining room menu included steak , seafood, as an option and a

Firstly let me say this, if you are above 70 you may enjoy this cruise. I must say boarding was a simple quick process even though we were not informed of our boarding time prior so we just arrived around 1 pm and once onboard we were not informed that lunch was available at the buffet so therefore we missed out.The food is very bland and servings are very small ( nursing home size ). We had

We last took this cruise, same company, (nearly) same itinerary, five years ago - and it was, as promised, amazing. Last month we took the same cruise - and what a disappointment. I know the company is under new ownership but one supposes the new owners thought there was value in what they'd bought - so why did they dumb it down? Presumably to extract a bit more profit. Azamara, regrettably, no

Booked this Christmas Cruise in October 21 as we had done the same trip in December 18, with the odd different port. Was looking forward to visiting Esperance but that was later removed from the schedule, which gave us an over night in Adelaide. Obviously, since we last sailed on Azamara Journey Royal Caribbean had sold the fleet off to private investors ad Oh boy, didn't it show. The standards

Let me start by saying that the crew and the food were excellent but it was sold on a spend New Year eve on Sydney harbour. Yes we were on the harbour but behind the Sydney harbour bridge moored up at white bay with another cruise ship in front. You only got to see the fireworks with a obstructed view a lot of people were very disappointed and the captain new it because when there was a Q&A with
