What cabins to avoid on Anthem of the Seas? ›

If you're a light sleeper, and just to be safe, the Anthem of the Seas cabins to avoid are located on decks 3, 6 and 13. On the other side of the spectrum, the best cabins on Anthem of the Seas are those on decks 7 to 10.

The Royal Loft Suite is the largest and most expensive accommodation on the Anthem of the Seas cruise ship. This two-deck suite measures 1,640 square feet, which includes 613 square feet spread over three balconies.

On Anthem of the Seas, Johnny Rockets is right beside the pool area, so you can just turn up in any attire and order a burger, fries, sodas and shakes. Unlike on other Royal Caribbean ships, rather than a flat fee (only charging extra for shakes or malts), you get charged by the item.

There is only one Royal Loft Suite on Anthem of the Seas. It's the largest suite and it's situated at the back of Deck 8. At 1,640 square feet (with 613 square feet of balcony space across three balconies), it's twice the size of its nearest rival and is breathtaking in both scale and design.

To reduce motion sickness, choose a stateroom in the middle of the ship on a lower deck. You will feel any sway of the ship less in this section. Although it may seem counterintuitive, if you're worried about seasickness on a cruise, book a stateroom with a window or a veranda.

The cruise line allows its guests to carry non-alcoholic beverages like soda and other soft drinks. The passengers can bring up to 12 soda cans per stateroom. You can also bring non-alcoholic beverages that are packed in sealed plastic bottles and cartons.

Anthem of the Seas has two formal nights during a one-week cruise. Acceptable formalwear includes evening or co*cktail gowns or dressy slacks and blouses for women, and tuxes, suits or slacks with sports coats, dress shirts and ties (optional) for men.
