I spent a whole week researching the best iced coffee recipes. I tested them out for you to make sure they lived up to the hype.

Most iced coffee recipes online lack clear instructions or exact measurements. So I decided I’d fix that with these recipes.

Most of the recipes below serve 1 person. If the recipe serves more than 1 person it will be shown above the recipe. To increase the serving size just multiply the ingredients.

1. Lemon Rum Iced Coffee

What You’ll Need

• Single or double espresso shot
• 1 tbsp sugar
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• ¼ cup cold water
• 1 fl. oz. rum
• Ice cubes
• Mint leaves

Instructions

• Add sugar and hot espresso into a bowl and leave to cool
• Once cooled, add water, lemon juice, and rum
• Fill a glass with ice and pour over the mixture
• Garnish with mint leaves

2. Caramel Macchiato Iced Coffee

What You’ll Need

• 2 espresso shots
• 3 tbsp vanilla syrup
• 1 tbsp caramel sauce
• 1 cup milk
• Ice cubes

Instructions

• Pour vanilla syrup, followed by milk, then ice into a glass

• ½ cup milk

• co*cktail shaker or airtight container

Instructions

• Add coffee and chocolate syrup into a co*cktail shaker and shake for 30 seconds

What You’ll Need

• 2 tsp instant coffee powder
• 2 tsp sugar
• 1 tbsp cold water
• 1 cup cold milk or water

Instructions

• Add instant coffee powder, sugar, and 1 tbsp cold water into a co*cktail shaker or airtight container
• Shake for 1 minute to mix
• Pour the mixture into a glass and add a cup of cold water or milk then stir

What You’ll Need

• ¾ cup strong brewed coffee
• 2 tbsp caramel sauce
• ¼ tsp sea salt
• ⅓ cup milk
• ½ cup sugar
• ½ cup water
• Ice cubes
• Saucepan

• French press or milk frother

Instructions

• Make a simple syrup by placing water and sugar into a saucepan over medium heat, stir until sugar is dissolved
• Add simple syrup and milk into a French press and plunge until frothy
• Add coffee, caramel sauce, and sea salt into a co*cktail shaker, shake for 30 seconds
• Add ice into a glass, pour coffee over, and pour foam on top

6. Pumpkin Spice Cream Iced Coffee

What You’ll Need

• ¾ cup cold brew or regular brew coffee
• 3 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup
• ⅓ cup milk
• Ice cubes
• French press or milk frother

Instructions

• Add milk and 1 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup into a French press and plunge until foamy
• Add cold brew and 2 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup in a glass and stir vigorously
• Top cold brew with foam and serve

What You’ll Need

• 2 espresso shots
• ½ can or 7 fl. oz. condensed milk (sweetened)
• ½ cup milk
• 4 cinnamon sticks
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• Cream soda
• Ice cubes
• Saucepan

Instructions

• Add milk, condensed milk, and cinnamon sticks to a saucepan over a low heat
• Let it simmer for 8 minutes then take-off of the heat
• Remove cinnamon sticks and add vanilla extract to saucepan, then leave to cool
• Add ice and espresso shots into a glass
• Add ¼ cup cooled cinnamon mixture into a glass

• 1-liter cold water
• 1 cup water
• 1 tsp vanilla extract

• 5 tbsp ground coffee
• 10 cardamom pods
• 10 cloves
• 1 fl. oz. brandy
• Ice cubes
• Saucepan
• Jug
• Paper filter

Instructions

• Boil 1 cup of water
• Add coffee, cardamom, and cloves to boiling water. Let it simmer for 10 minutes then take-off of the heat
• Add condensed milk into your jug
• Pour cooled coffee mixture through a paper filter into your jug
• Add cold water, vanilla, and brandy to the jug and stir

10. Japanese Iced Coffee

What You’ll Need

• 1 tbsp ground coffee
• ¾ cup water
• Ice cubes
• A funnel
• Paper filter
• Sugar syrup
• Milk

Instructions

• Add ice cubes into a glass
• Place the paper filter in the funnel and place it over the glass
• Add coffee grounds to the filter
• Boil water and pour over the coffee grounds slowly and evenly
• Add milk and syrup before serving

What You’ll Need

• 4 tbsp coffee powder
• 1 cup boiling water

What You’ll Need

• 1 cup strong brewed coffee
• 12 fl. oz. cola
• 3 cups chocolate milk
• Ice cubes

• Make your coffee by pouring the hot water over your coffee grounds. Ensure you are pouring slowly and evenly over the grounds.
• Add ice cubes and yogurt into a glass

What You’ll Need

• 1 cup strong brewed coffee (cooled)
• ½ cup chocolate milk
• 1-3 tbsp whipping cream
• 1 tbsp powdered sugar
• Marshmallow pieces

• Beat whipping cream until soft and puffy
• Add powdered sugar into the cream and beat until a stiff peak forms
• Add marshmallow pieces into cream and mix

• ¾ cup cold-brew coffee or regular brew (cooled)

What You’ll Need

• 2 tbsp warm water
• 1 tbsp instant coffee powder
• 1 tbsp white sugar
• 1 ¾ cup cold milk
• 1 scoop ice cream
• Blender

Instructions

• Add water, coffee powder, and sugar into the blender and blend until completely mixed
• Add ice cream and milk into the blender and blend until combined and smooth
